Vikram Thakur

Vikram Thakur is a Technical Director at Symantec, a Division of Broadcom. He leads a globally located team of analysts investigating, researching and compiling actionable intelligence from the multitude of cyber attacks happening every single day. In addition, Vikram liaises such research and findings with various global law enforcement agencies, governments and industry partners with the intention of bringing cyber criminals to justice and mitigating online risk for end users. He has held multiple roles over a decade with Symantec, all of which encompassed researching, analyzing and responding to online threats to better protect end users. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science, which he earned from Florida State University.
